Customs Rules
Import regulations::
Free import:
- 200 cigarettes;
- 20 cigars or 200 grammes of tobacco;
- 1 litre of wine or spirits;
- 1 bottle of perfume;
- goods up to the amount of EUR 76.70.
Export regulations::
Export of work of art is prohibited.
Pets::
Birds, cats and dogs require a veterinarian Good Health Certificate issued at point of origin. Additionally cats and dogs also require a rabies inoculation certificate.
Baggage Clearance regulations::
Baggage is cleared at the first airport of entry in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Exempt: those continuing their journey with the same aircraft to a destination outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Airport Embarkation Tax
(USD 12.-) is levied on passengers embarking in Bosnia Herzegovina for destinations abroad.
Place of payment: airport of departure.
Exempt: transit passengers not leaving the airport transit area.
Currency rules
Currency Import regulations:
Same regulations as for export apply.
Currency Export regulations:
Local currency (Convertible Mark - BAM) up to BAM 200,000.-.
Foreign currencies: no restrictions.
