Latest Ebola related travel restrictions, published in Timaic:


INDIA, 02 December
Passengers arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Mali and Sierra Leone must enter India only through Bangalore (BLR), Chennai (MAA), Cochin (COK), Delhi (DEL), Hyderabad (HYD), Kolkata (CCU) or Mumbai (BOM). hose who have visited the above mentioned countries within the last 30 days are subject to screening and medical checks upon arrival.

MONGOLIA, 03 December
Admission and transit refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Nationals of and country arriving from the above listed countries are also refused entry even if holding a visa.

SEYCHELLES, 02 December
In addition to previous announcements, Equatorial Guinea has been removed from the list of nationalities that must apply for a visa prior to their departure for the Seychelles.

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, 21 October
Admission refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone residing in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and to alien residents of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Other passengers who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the last 21 days will also be refused entry. Nationals and alien residents of Antigua and Barbuda who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone after 15 October 2014 may be subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

AUSTRALIA, 19 November
Admission of nationals of Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and visitors who have recently visited those countries is subject to prior approval from Entry Operations Center (EOC).

BAHRAIN, 19 August
Nationals of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone are refused entry, even if holding a valid visa or residence permit issued by Bahrain. Transit through Bahrain (BAH) for up to 8 hours is possible. However, it is not possible to obtain the 24 hour transit visa nor the 24 hour Causeway Transit Visa on arrival.

BELIZE, 20 October
Admission refused to visitors arriving from Congo (Dem. Rep.) Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.) Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria or Sierra Leone within the last 30 days will be refused entry. Nationals and alien residents of Belize, who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria or Sierra Leone within the last 30 days are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

BOTSWANA, 3 September
In addition to previous announcements, visitors arriving from Congo (Dem. Rep.) are refused entry even if holding a visa.

BOTSWANA, 22 August
Visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone are refused entry even if holding a visa. Nationals and alien residents of Botswana are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

BRAZIL, 05 November
Visitors who have recently visited Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone are subject to screening and health checks on arrival.

CAMEROON, 03 October
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from or having transited Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

CAPE VERDE, 3 September
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Senegal and Sierra Leone. This also applies to aircrew and Merchant Seamen. Nationals and alien residents of Cape Verde are subject to screening and health checks.

CAYMAN ISL. 13 November
Admission and transit refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the last 28 days will be refused entry.

CENTRAL AFRICAN REP., 03 October
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from or having transited Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Airlines operating to Central African Rep. are required to submit in advance to Civil Aviation Authority a list of passengers carried, including details on points of embarkation and transit.

CHAD, 03 October
Visitors to Chad who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone within the previous 30 days, prior to their travel to Chad will be refused entry.

COTE D`IVOIRE, 14 October
In addition to previous announcements, any admission and transit restrictions, applicable to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone or to visitors who have visited these countries within the last 21 days, are now lifted. All passengers are subject to screening and health checks.

COTE D`IVOIRE, 16 September
In addition to previous announcements, visitors to Cote d'Ivoire who have visited Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria or Sierra Leone within the previous 21 days, prior to their travel to Cote d'Ivoire, will be refused entry. This also applies to aircrew and Merchant Seamen.

COTE D`IVOIRE, 3 September
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Nationals and alien residents of Cote d`Ivoire are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment. Temperature check through infrared thermometer compulsory for all passengers on arrival.

DOMINICAN REP., 27 October
Admission to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal or Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited the above mentioned countries within the last 30 days will be refused entry.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA, 03 October
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. All passengers are subject to screening and medical examination on arrival.

GABON, 13 November
Admission and transit refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

GAMBIA, 06 October
Admission and transit is refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

GUYANA, 24 November
Nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo no longer require a visa, applied for prior to departure for Guyana. The requirement still applies to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, Mali and Sierra Leone.

GUYANA, 10 September
Nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo require a visa, applied for prior to departure for Guyana.

HAITI, 27 October
Admission refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited the above mentioned countries within the last 28 days will be refused entry. Nationals of any country who have visited those countries more than 28 days ago must hold a health certificate issued by a government-certified medical institution, proving they are Ebola virus free.

INDIA, 02 December

IRAQ, 31 October
Nationals of Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Senegal, arriving at Baghdad (BGW) or Basra (BSR), must hold a health clearance certificate issued within 3 months prior to arrival in Iraq. The certificate must be issued by an authorized medical institution in the country of residence and legalized by a consulate of Iraq. Nationals of any country who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Senegal within 3 months prior to arrival in Iraq are subject to screening and health checks. Exempt from all of the above are holders of diplomatic passports.

IRAQ, 23 October
Admission refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, residing in country of nationality, arriving at Erbil (EBL) and Sulyamaniyah (ISU). Nationals of all African countries, residing in country of nationality, arriving at these airports are subject to screening and medical checks.

JAMAICA, 20 October
Admission and transit refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Nationals of and country who have visited or have transited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the last 28 days will be refused entry. Nationals and alien residents of Jamaica, who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the last 28 days are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

KENYA, 23 September
Visitors arriving from or having transited through Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone are refused entry even if holding a visa. Nationals and alien residents of Kenya are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

MALDIVES, 14 October
Visitors arriving from or who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the previous 21 days before their arrival date in Maldives must obtain a visa prior to departure for Maldives. Airlines are strongly advised to complete Declaration of Health for each arriving flight and submit to Port Health Officers upon arrival.

MAURITIUS, 22 October
Travel restrictions no longer apply to nationals of Nigeria or to travel that includes Nigeria.

MAURITIUS, 15 September
Nationals of Congo, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone are refused entry, even if holding a valid visa or residence permit issued by Mauritius. Exempt are those holding a prior approval, obtained from the Passport and Immigration Office.

MONGOLIA, 03 December
Admission and transit refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Nationals of and country arriving from the above listed countries are also refused entry even if holding a visa.

OMAN, 20 August
Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman published Ebola Virus Disease ( EVD) prevention and surveillance procedures applicable for airlines operating to Oman. For details please see: www.moh.gov.om/en/

PANAMA, 24 October
Admission refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited the above listed countries within the last 21 days will be refused entry.

RWANDA, 05 November
Admission refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the last 22 days will be refused entry. Exempt are holders of special authorization signed by the Minister of Health of The Republic of Rwanda.

SAO TOME AND PRINCIPE, 03 October
Visitors to Sao Tome and Principe who have visited Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone within the previous 30 days, prior to their travel to Sao Tome and Principe will be refused entry. This also applies to aircrew and Merchant Seamen.

SENEGAL, 3 September
Admission and transit is refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, except those who can prove they have not been present in Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone for a continuous 40 day period prior to departure for Senegal.

SEYCHELLES, 02 December
In addition to previous announcements, Equatorial Guinea has been removed from the list of nationalities that must apply for a visa prior to their departure for the Seychelles.

SEYCHELLES, 24 November
Travel restrictions no longer apply to visitors who visited Congo (Dem. Rep.). However, nationals of Congo (Dem. Rep.) are still required to apply for a visa, prior to departure for the Seychelles.

SEYCHELLES, 20 November
In addition to previous announcements, South Sudan has been added to the list of nationals that must apply for a visa prior to their departure for the Seychelles. Travel restrictions now apply to visitors who visited Mali within the last 21 days prior to arrival in the Seychelles.

SEYCHELLES, 22 October
Travel restrictions no longer apply to visitors who visited Nigeria. However, nationals of Nigeria are still required to apply for a visa, prior to departure for the Seychelles.

SEYCHELLES, 19 September
In addition to previous announcements, Central African Rep. and Gabon have been added to the list of nationals that must apply for a visa prior to their departure for the Seychelles. Transit visa is now required for nationals of Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Travel restrictions no longer apply to visitors who visited Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

Equatorial Guinea has been added to the list of nationals that must apply for a visa prior to their departure for the Seychelles. In addition to previous announcements, visitors to the Seychelles who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.), Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone within the previous 21 days before their arrival date in the Seychelles will be refused entry. This also applies to aircrew and Merchant Seamen. Furthermore, alien residents of the Seychelles who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.), Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone within the previous 21 days before their arrival date in the Seychelles will be refused re-entry.

SEYCHELLES, 18 August
Nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo require a visa, applied for prior to departure for the Seychelles. Visas can be applied for at: www.ics.gov.sc

SINGAPORE, 05 November
Nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone require a visa, applied for prior to departure for Singapore. Visitors arriving from or who have recently visited the above mentioned countries are subject to screening and health check. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

SOUTH AFRICA, 3 September
In addition to previous announcements, admission and transit is refused to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone arriving from or transiting: Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia or Zimbabwe.

SOUTH AFRICA, 22 August
Visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone are refused entry even if holding a visa. Nationals and alien residents of South Africa are subject to screening and complete medical examination.

SRI LANKA, 25 August
The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is not available to nationals of Congo, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Sudan and Uganda. Nationals of these countries must apply for a visa prior to their departure for Sri Lanka. These nationalities may also be subject to screening by a Health Officer before being granted entry.

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS, 17 October
Visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will be refused entry. Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis who have visited Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone within the previous 21 days, prior to their travel to St. Kitts and Nevis will be refused entry.

ST. LUCIA, 17 October
Visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will be refused entry. Nationals of Nigeria arriving from Nigeria must hold a recent PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test certificate.

ST. MAARTEN, 30 October
Admission and transit refused to visitors arriving from Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited those countries within the last 21 days will be refused entry. Nationals and Alien residents of St. Maarten, who have visited those countries within the last 21 days will be quarantined for a period of 21 days upon arrival.

ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, 15 October
Visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will be refused entry. Nationals of Nigeria arriving from Nigeria must hold a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test certificate, issued not more than seven (7) days prior to their date of departure from Nigeria

SURINAME, 23 October
Admission refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country who have visited the above listed countries within the last 21 days will be refused entry. All visitors are subject to screening and medical checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment. Exempt from all of the above are holders of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test certificate, proving they are Ebola virus free.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, 27 October
In addition to previous announcements, travel restrictions no longer apply to nationals of Nigeria or to travel that includes Nigeria.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, 17 October
Admission and transit refused to nationals of Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Nationals of any country, arriving from the above listed countries or who have visited those countries within the last 42 days will be refused entry. Nationals of Trinidad and Tobago, who have visited or reside in those countries will be quarantined for a period of 21 days.

USA, 21 November
In addition to previous announcements, passengers arriving from Mali must enter the US only through Atlanta (ATL), Chicago (ORD), Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), Washington (IAD). Those who have visited Mali within the last 21 days are subject to screening and medical checks upon arrival.

USA, 24 October
Passengers arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone must enter the US only through Atlanta (ATL), Chicago (ORD), Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), Washington (IAD). Those who have visited the above mentioned countries within the last 21 days are subject to screening and medical checks upon arrival.
