Customs

Import regulations:

Free import (irrespective of the age of the passenger):
- a reasonable quantity of tobacco products;
- a reasonable quantity of perfume in opened bottles.

Wild Fauna and Flora:

The import of certain endangered species of plant, live animals and their products is prohibited or restricted under CITES.

Export regulations:

No restrictions.

Pets:

A veterinarian certificate is required.

Baggage Clearance regulations:

Baggage is cleared at the first airport of entry in Guinea-Bisseau.


Currency

Currency Import regulations:

Local currency (CFA Franc-XOF) and foreign currencies: up to XOF 2,000,000.- or equivalent in cash on arrival.

Currency Export regulations:

Local currency (CFA Franc-XOF) and foreign currencies: up to XOF 2,000,000.- or equivalent allowed in cash. Higher amounts allowed by bank transfer only.


Airport Tax

No airport tax is levied on passengers upon embarkation at the airport.
