Customs
Import regulations:
Free import:
- 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars (only for passengers of 17 years of age and older);
- 40 oz. (1.14 liter) of alcoholic beverages (only for passengers of 17 years and older);
- approx. 6 ozs. (168 grams) of perfume;
- (only once per 12 months): gift articles valued up to XCD 250.-.
Arms and Ammunition regulations:
Import permit, issued by the Commissioner of Police, is required.
Wild Fauna and Flora:
The import of certain endangered species of plant, live animals and their products is prohibited or restricted under CITES.

Crew members customs regulations:
Same regulations as for passengers apply.
Pets:
Cats and dogs must be accompanied by a veterinarian good health certificate issued at the point of origin.
Baggage Clearance regulations:
Baggage is cleared in Antigua or first port of entry.
Currency
Currency Import regulations:
Local currency (East Caribbean Dollar-XCD) and foreign currencies: no restriction, if declared on arrival.
Currency Export regulations:
Local currency (East Caribbean Dollar-XCD) and foreign currencies: up to the amounts imported and declared.
Airport Tax
Departure and Security taxes are levied on passengers departing Montserrat:
USD 13.- for nationals of CARICOM Member States;
USD 21.- for all other nationals.
The Antigua Airport Administration Charge (SH tax) of USD 7.50 is payable on departure per passenger who is not connecting through Antigua Airport within 24 hours.
